About Awkwafina
Nora Lum, professionally known as Awkwafina, is an acclaimed American actress, comedian, rapper, and writer. She rose to prominence with her viral rap videos and broke barriers as an Asian American woman in comedy and film. Awkwafina won a Golden Globe for her leading role in "The Farewell" and has gained widespread popularity for her roles in "Crazy Rich Asians," "Ocean’s 8," and the Marvel film "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings." She is also the co-creator and star of the Comedy Central series "Awkwafina Is Nora from Queens."
